The October Realignment was the public return of █████ to cooperation with █████ (The Mastermind) in late October 2026 and the formation of a renewed strategic partnership between them. It consolidated Behind The Masks under dual command and sharply raised tensions with The Big 3, building directly toward Operation Night Fury.[1]
Prelude
The realignment had long antecedents. █████ had supported █████ during the February exclusion; █████'s temporary alignment with the opposing coalition during the Summer Blockade had interrupted but not erased that relationship. In September 2026 █████ reconsidered his position and communications were reopened.
Public return to cooperation
In late October █████ publicly declared a return to cooperation with █████, a step with significant social and diplomatic consequences, since it reversed a visible alignment.

The two concluded a renewed strategic partnership, which made them joint commanders of Behind The Masks.
